would totally do this if i didn't have a baby to look after! i was hired as an extra in that gambling movie 24 when it was shooting in Boston at my office. they fell really behind with the schedule so i never actually shot the scene they hired me to do...which was to drink and play cards on a plane with kate bosworth, jim sturgess, and kevin spacey. i did, however, get paid something like $40 an hour to just sit on set and be driven back home in a company car. i was working at my actual job during some of the later scenes they filmed and kevin spacey spent basically every spare moment outside leaning against my window smoking cigarettes. i literally was just staring at his back all day as i typed.

I LOVE Kevin Spacey!!!  That's amazing.  I also like the sound of the pay for stuff like this!  :D

This is really tempting.  But I think I'm too much of a scardy cat.  I was an extra on Raan (I think) when I was in Mumbai.  We were meant to be on an American college campus and they wanted me to speak, I froze and nothing came out. It was awful!

OMG! I love WWZ.

Me, too.  I don't normally go for zombie themed entertainment, but WWZ is an excellent book.

Got invited to the casting call on Saturday!  I don't know if they do that for everyone who applies or what, but it's exciting!  The funny thing is that in the e-mail they specifically ask that you do not dress as a zombie.  ;D

Yep it's in Glasgow.  I guess we could be standing in line for a couple of hours while they process everyone, so I'm going to bring a new book and some snacks and hope for the best.  A couple of my friends might go as well! :)

Bit disappointed about being discouraged from dressing as a zombie though!  :P  :D
