Ooh fun! DH and I are looking forward to this film. They were filming up in Glasgow earlier this year (last year?) when he was visiting his mum. He went down and watched the filming. He said brad Pitt was just hanging around, but no one was really bothering him, because the folks there were not impressed. :P if I didn't have a supply teaching assignment for tomorrow already, I'd come down to see, too! Have fun, camoscoto!

It was great walking around George Square, seeing all the American cars, buses, ambulances, etc... all crashed, flipped over onto their sides, etc and the American street signs, traffic lights and stuff.  We never saw Brad Pitt or any of the actors, but it was cool seeing all the cars.

They're doing re-shoots on WWZ this week, and I got work for today and tomorrow.  As I was getting all sorted out (costume, etc), they started asking all the extras (there were about 30) who was an American.  Turned out I was the only one, so I got A COUPLE OF LINES IN THE MOVIE!!!!

Here's hoping I don't get cut!   :)

Just reviving this to say I'M IN THE MOVIE!!!  If you go see it, look for me in the scenes on the aircraft carrier after Brad Pitt and his family land.  I'm the guy in a US Navy camouflage uniform who says the following:

"Are there any reports of a person being bitten but not infected?"

"Sir, there is nowhere to evacuate you to."

And 10 minutes or so later:

"DC has gone dark.  The capital evacuation has been suspended."

 ;D

Pretty fun! I loved doing extras stuff when I was younger - so often got on the cutting room floor though. So that's an achievement.  [smiley=2thumbsup.gif]

Nice work, Camoscato -- I totally believed that there was nowhere to evacuate them to! :)
