I'm going to a fancy dress party! (BBQ if the weather is nice  ;D)

The theme is weddings of course. I'm really excited about it as I can finally wear my wedding boots and veil again! There is no way I am wearing my dress again as it has a long train and it's very heavy.

What are you doing?

I'll be working too! I'll see the wedding when I get off work as it will be recorded at home and it will be playing in the background at the party I am going to.

I'll be on holiday at the Pembrokeshire seaside - hopefully rambling & enjoying the great outdoors, in bliss as far away from the hoopla as pos.  :)

I'm working too.  I'm not really interested at all in the wedding, but it would have been nice to have gotten the day off.

Yes thanks for that!  Woohoo!  ;D

We get an extra public holiday next year too - the queen's diamond jubilee!

I going to enjoy my 'mandated' bank holiday. Not sure what I will get up to, as I have a busy weekend with gigs and things, so I can't travel away, but its nice just to get the day off!

If you watch on CBS you'll see some of my work.  I'll be spending the entire week of the wedding working at the London bureau (thanks Will & Kate for the gig!).   :)

It's interesting that people throw parties for a royal wedding. A friend of mine is getting married the day after the royals, so I will be in the lake district helping her celebrate her big day.
We stole countries with the cunning use of flags. Just sail around the world and stick a flag in. "I claim India for Britain!" They're going "You can't claim us, we live here! Five hundred million of us!" "Do you have a flag …? "What? We don't need a flag, this is our home, you bastards" "No flag, No Country, You can't have one! Those are the rules... that I just made up!...and I'm backing it up with this gun, that was lent to me from the National Rifle Association."

On the day of the wedding, attending a conference about the CIA (title: "Landscapes of Secrecy: The CIA in History, Fiction and Memory") at the University of Nottingham. It was organized well before the wedding announcement. Program here: http://www.nottingham.ac.uk/american/landscapes/papers/papers.aspx [nofollow]

We will be staying far away from the city centre! Neither DH or I have any interest in the Royal Wedding. In fact, we were going to go away, but all the hotels we checked outside of London have put their prices up for that weekend. :P
Finally living with my Husband in London after 6 1/2 years together but apart... and loving my life!
