Hi UKYs,

I moved to the UK in late November and was immediately submerged in learning my new job. But now I'm noticing sunshine and flowers and it occurs to me that I should cultivate a social life. There's an overwhelming amount of stuff to choose from, so I'm curious how the rest of you sort the wheat from the chaff.

My life trajectory has been NY > Germany > NY > Baltimore > NY > London. Hoping to finally stay in one place.

Thanks!

Welcome to UKY.  :)

You sound like me, all over the place!  ;D
We met in Tokyo through friends when we both lived in Japan.

Last year we moved to Thailand, got our first apartment together, got jobs with the same employer (!), didn't end up killing each other, got married, and decided to move to the UK to settle down.

London, here we come!
