Scroll bar doesn't work when posting

The scroll bar on the side of the box where you type posts doesn't allow me to scroll down past the bottom of the page so I can see what I am typing  if I type a long post.

Happens in IE and Firefox.

I've tried to deal with this by typing my posts in Word and Wordpad, and then copying and pasting, but when I paste the text, the line breaks are deleted.

I had this issue randomly on my old Vista system in IE8, it seems to have disappeared since I installed windows 7 last week. I'd suggest clicking the compatibility mode button for IE or disabling add-ons which may be interfering (Microsoft help issue http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/ie/forum/ie8-windows_other/vista-ie8-editing-forum-posts-bug-scrolling/b7eeebe0-b81b-4157-a4bf-b645b125694f), but as you're having the same in Firefox I'm not sure what to suggest at the moment, I'll do some more research and see what I can come up with.
