Batchellor's Soup no longer condensed!

I don't often use soup but every once in a while a recipe will call for cream o' whatever and I have always used Batchelor's, well Campbells before it was rebranded.

Imagine my surprise when I turned my can into my tuna-noodle casserole this afternoon and it was actually SOUP! I read the directions after that and apparently the soup is no longer condensed.

It was never a prefect replacement but now even that is gone. I don't know when the change was made or it is worth rushing out to your local shops to see if their soup is still condensed, but there was nothing on the can that told me of the change until I read the directions. Beware!

I just bought Batchellor's condensed soup at my local Waitrose yesterday. Prehaps your local store isn't stocking it anymore? 

Must be! How strange, I've just looked at their website and they don't even have non-condensed soup listed  in their range?! I just dug the can out of the bin though, and I'm not just going mad

I also just bought a couple cans of their condensed mushroom soup.  Of course, in our co-op, it could be 6 months old already. : / 

Not all Batchelors/Campbells soup over here is condensed, theres only a small range that is. I have to double check I'm picking up the low-fat variety as well, as I use that in a low fat chicken and spinach lasagne.
