Global Priority Mail
« on: April 05, 2003, 04:56:28 AM »
I mentioned this to someone the other day and was shocked that they didn't know of it already, so I thought I'd post it for one and all.

If you have someone from back home sending you more than just a letter, (but less than a box) always have them use a Global Priority Envelope. They're free to pick up in any US post office. They come in two sizes and they are a flat rate. This means that no matter how heavy it is, as long as it fits in the envelope it goes for the flat fee. Large ones cost $9 to ship and small ones $7. The other great thing is that the package arrives in less than a week.

Oh.  I didn't know that either!   Thanks!   ;D

*grumbles it took her 8 years to figure this out.*
