Any Antique Furniture Experts?
« on: May 19, 2011, 05:42:03 PM »
Hi all,

I've put this here because my guess is an enthusiasm for antique furniture would come under leisure/hobbies.  If I've somehow missed the Antique Furniture sub-forum over the 4 years I've been on this site, I apologize.   :)

My wife and I bought a slat front desk from a used furniture place.  It wasn't expensive, and I doubt it's an antique, but it's got a maker's mark stamped into the drawers, and my curiosity has been picqued.  I'd like to figure out who made it and when.

In case there are any antique experts around, here are some photos:

Thanks for looking!

Carl

No idea!  But I hope you'll tell us more about it if you learn anything!

I definitely will, even if it's just "It was made in a furniture factory in Slough in 2005 by a subsidiary of Tesco.  It's worth £35."   :)
