Where to find liquid smoke

I have been looking for it but have had trouble finding it.

Most likely (unless you happen to be where one of these shops are actually located) you will need to get it via mail order:

There may be other sources.  I got mine at Lupe Pintos, but unless you're using it all the time, a bottle will probably last you awhile.  :)

Oh that's great!  I don't go to Sainsburys very often, but will have to have a look next time I do.  I was also trying to remember if I'd seen it in Waitrose here locally, so that might be a possibility.  I am pretty sure I saw it in the Harvey Nichols import-stuff Food Hall - price would be about the same there as for an online order.

Cant tell you if its like anything from back home buts it there... Im going into town today and take a look if its still stocked and get a price for you

I've got the Stubbs brand one - from Lupe Pintos, not sure if it's Hickory, Mesquite or what, off the top of my head without looking in the cupboard.  But it's proper liquid smoke for sure.  I've used it to make my own BBQ sauce & also when I've done pulled pork & Texas style spicy beef brisket.

Didnt make it to Sainsburys (left my Debit card at another store while returning something) today but will try to check tomorrow as we'll be away until June from wednesday.

Was in Sainsburys for a large shop and I was wrong.. its liquid seasoning.. I dont know if its the same by its by a brand called Maggi and was 55p

Amazon had some but it was so expensive I had my Mom bring some over.
