One joyous event...one thing that makes me smile every time I think of it...

Cleveland Indians 22....New York Yankees 0.  Big fat 0.  Zero.  Nothing.  None.

It's not usually like me to gloat, but considering the turn my life has taken over the last two days or so, I apologize, to all who might be offended, but too bad.  I hte the Yankees and this makes me feel like life isn't all a big pile of nasty mud, that every time we try to get our heads above it it sucks us back down.

YANKEES ZERO!!!   The worst shutout in AL history!  Stick taht bit of record-making on your t-shirts, Yankee fans!!

Woman, you have just made my day!!!!!!!  ;D ;D ;D ;D
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

My son was jumping up and down screaming for joy on that one. :P Unfortunately we live in an upstairs apartment so I'm sure my neighbors weren't too appreciative. ::)

I'm of Mariner's stock coming from WA state and all, but I just KNOW that my baseball fanatic and hater of Yankies Mom is hoopin' and hollerin' to the point that Daddy is wishing he's never gotten her hooked on the game to start!!

I heard about this on the radio while driving to work this morning! :D  Ha ha, I know I scared whoever was in the car next to me.  I couldn't help but scream and laugh hysterically.  I too hate the Yankees [smiley=bleck.gif] ('hate' being an incredible understatement).

Sad to say, but this did help my day start off quite well.  AND made for some fun conversation during lunchtime ;D
