Boys names are hard.  I like Aneurin (Nye) you don't see many Nye's on the dole, they tend to be judges and doctors (and politicians)

See, I like Elliot! :D My BIL's middle name is Elliot, so I'm not sure how much he woud like us stealing it.

I've thrown out Alistair and Tristan, which my husband hates. He wants Reginald- Which I hate. I'd like to stick to a celtic type name.. My other two boys have names in that region.
We stole countries with the cunning use of flags. Just sail around the world and stick a flag in. "I claim India for Britain!" They're going "You can't claim us, we live here! Five hundred million of us!" "Do you have a flag …? "What? We don't need a flag, this is our home, you bastards" "No flag, No Country, You can't have one! Those are the rules... that I just made up!...and I'm backing it up with this gun, that was lent to me from the National Rifle Association."

We definitely wanted a Welsh name and my husband kept threatening to name him Huw Puw when he went to register Nye.

Hmm maybe if I promised to let him name the next  that he's be up for more kids...

Aled is nice too.

My bf and I talk about this subject often. He's super picky and he and I finally agreed on these names: Riley, Logan, Cole and Blake for boys names.. ;)

I like Oscar, Elliot, and Oliver!  :P  Elliot and Oliver are actually on my list for any potential future babies!  :)

I've always really liked the name Seamus, but I don't know how well that flies anywhere other than Scotland/Ireland/NI.  It's also not a name that everyone likes, at least not in the US.   :P

I once briefly met a guy named Anders, and I couldn't tell you a thing about him or what he looks like, but it's a name that's always stuck with me.  :) I also like Rhys quite a bit.

My DH wants to call our potential future baby boy Draven......... I stupidly agreed to this at a time when we had just got together and not really sure what would happen in the relationship.... Now im not sure how to get out of it  :P

My little nephews are Ben and George which are cute names and I also like Lewis and Rhys

My bf and I talk about this subject often. He's super picky and he and I finally agreed on these names: Riley, Logan, Cole and Blake for boys names.. ;)

Can someone please clarify for me if Logan is a unisex name? DH's friends are due to have a baby girl next month and are going to call her Logan - i thought it was a boys name!

I love baby names and in my head I have 2 names and they are both unisex but I don't share them (well unless I have been drinking) ;-)

Sista - boy names....any grandparents or manly people you want to name the baby after even a middle name?
Do you want to be different like the first person to have a name or a common on or it may come to you when you see the sweet face ;-)

I do love Rhys - sounds ry as in ryan which to me in a lovely name

I really dislike the current fashion of giving babies surnames, like Taylor, Tyler, Madison, Connor, etc. etc. I have no problem with the principal (both my father and my grandfather had their mothers' maiden names as given names) but I hate the fact that every other kid has one of these names. It will become so quickly dated.

My son is called Noah, which is still slightly unusual here, not too popular.

My daughter is called Imogen, and when we go to the states to visit my mother she introduces her as "Imogen, its a British name" so using names that are very specific to the UK, you might get that activity with the grandparents. lol.

Boys names are hard.

Ain't that the truth!! I can think of 10 girl names that we could use, but not one boy name that DH and I can agree on so far.

See, I like Elliot! :D My BIL's middle name is Elliot, so I'm not sure how much he woud like us stealing it.

Why don't you ask him? He would probably be honored!

I really dislike the current fashion of giving babies surnames, like Taylor, Tyler, Madison, Connor, etc. etc. I have no problem with the principal (both my father and my grandfather had their mothers' maiden names as given names) but I hate the fact that every other kid has one of these names. Oh man! You would have hated to work for one of the doctors I used to work for. She had three kids. Regan, Madison, and Taylor, and they were all girls! I thought of two more names last night.....Warren and Wayne! ;D

CW- I wanna know what names they are! I'll have to ask next time you have a few drinks then.  ;)

Thanks for all the suggestions! Keep them coming please.... :)

I liked Regan for a girls name. I met a Regan once and she was really cool. The name stuck with me.   As far as more boys names, I liked Calvin, Ian, Eli, and Noah.

HG- I love the name Lucas.  Well, now that you mention it.  ;)

I also like Aiden, Colin, James, and Jack.  Jack is actually one of my favorites but I don't think it will go well with my soon-to-be surname.

I'm not a fan either. Madison is a street, not a name.

I don't really think of Regan as a last name, but I have to wonder ... do these people not know their Shakespeare??
