As far as girls names go, I've found myself really liking Lorelai-  I've only ever seen one person with that name, and I think it's kinda pretty.  Do you think it would be too different for the UK?

The first thing that pops into my mind is Marilyn Monroe as Lorelei Lee in Gentlemen Prefer Blondes!

Its funny how personal picking baby names can be- and how personal experiences in life can make you really shy away from certain names- for example, someone who used to bully you in school or whatever.  Goodness, naming a child has to be so hard!


 

This is true. the fiancé and I are still about 2 1/2 years away from trying to to conceive but we already have 3 names picked out for each sex. There were a few I liked that he didn't - Erin and John come to mind - and a few he liked that I didn't. Our big thing was keeping family involved though.
