Hi everyone

My name is Michelle and I am an american living in the UK for 5 years with my wonderful husband and son, who is 2 years old.  Like most of you here I still really miss the US and my family and wanted to connect with other expats and get to know everyone.  Anyone from the Leicester area or nearby??  Hope to hear from everyone soon.  :D

Nice to hear from a few people, was really glad I found this website (shame I didn't find it sooner  :o) Looking forward to making new friends and talking to other Americans.  Allibabba, glad to hear there is someone at least remotely close to Leicester.  I like going to Hooters in Nottingham as it's the only place I can find snowcrab legs......yummy  ;D ;D

My bf lives in Nottingham as well.. I'll be visiting him in 5 weeks and Hooters is on the list of MUST do's for me! haha Maybe we can bump into each other there LOL. Just imagine, I live in Southern California where there are MASS amounts of Hooters and I'm going all the way to the UK to visit that Hooters  :P lol Among other things obviously!
