stotties are something completely different than what I'd typically see bacon on though. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stottie_cake

Here in Cov it's a batch (large bread roll, sort of hamburger bun-esque.) Though we quite often have ours on tortillas.


When we were just up in Seahouses on holiday Alex had a belly buster breakfast.  Basically a huge fryup in half a large stottie  bread.

I thought a cob was a specific type of bread/loaf?  I think I saw it on one of those Baker competition shows.

This is what I wanted people to learn that even though we're a tiny island we have alot of diversity even in the way we have words for our food
