Hey everyone (Michigan)

I currently live close to Horsham but work in Brighton and gonna be moving there in a couple months.  Just looking for people with similiar interests since the only people I know here are my wife and her family.  Im 27 and like sports (american football and mma), working out, playing cards and usually im uo for whatever. 

I'm not anywhere near you, but do you play Euchre?  I would kill for a good game.

I'm from MI, not near Brighton though, Royal Oak area, which is closer to Detroit! I'm hoping to move to England next year. Hope you enjoy Michigan, I can't wait to get out but I'm sure I'll miss it. It's always a scorching summer here, hope you will be prepared for next year!

I haven't played euchre in years, but I had a fun week with my grandparents/great-aunts playing pretty much non-stop when I was about 15.

It's funny how there are so many of the same names of cities in both England and Michigan (Birmingham, Oxford, Plymouth, ect!!)

Try New England. I used to love to call up my DH from the States and say, "hey, I'm in Kent! Now I'm in Uxbridge! Now I'm in Andover!"

What cracked him up was that the place names in the US were in a random relation to each other, like somebody had mixed up the names in a bag and poured them out on a table. Imagine there was a place where New York was right next door to Austin which was right next door to Boise.

I'm from Michigan too (Detroit area), and would also love a good game of Euchre.  However, I'm all the way up in Glasgow!
