How long before you were engaged?

We met online when he was planning his RTW trip and he contacted me for some LA travel advice. We exchanged a few pleasant emails, nothing special. I thought he was funny but no romantic interest. Then 2 years later I was planning a trip to the UK to visit friends and we met up. That was that. We kinda got engaged 3 weeks later (by text message -- me to him!) then married 5 months after that. We'll be married 7 years on 14 Sept.

We 'met' online in Jan 2010, met in person June 4, 2010 and became engaged June 17th, 2010. Sooo 4 months together before we got engaged? The 23rd of this month we will have been together a year and a half and are getting married 15th of October.

- We met online in 1998 though we weren't really friends - we just ran in the same circles.  I stopped playing in 2001.  
- We reconnected in February of 09 with light "I remember you!"s but not much else.
- August I started playing the game again. We started chatting. Instantly clicked in a loving friendly way.  
- By September we'd fallen in love with the other but the other didn't know.  
- October it was revealed so that was the official official date.  
- Flew out Thanksgiving a month later and met for the first time face to face.
- Engaged spiritually by the second night.  went back to the states to wrap my life up.
- Engaged legally in March
- Came to the UK as a visitor for 6 months.
- Married Spiritually in May.
- Returned for my fiance visa in September
- Back to UK in October
- Married in November 2010 just a year and 4 days after we met face to face.
- Honeymooned in August!

We were in an LDR just over 2 years when I flew to the UK to meet him in person and we got engaged within a week. We got married about 15 months after our engagement. It would've been sooner but we had to save for the cost of travel, wedding, honeymoon & my visa.

I moved to the UK 5 months after our wedding, on our 4 year dating anniversary. Our 1st wedding anniversary is in a month
