Found: American food in Faversham!
« on: August 03, 2011, 04:39:23 PM »
I found all of these at a farm shop in Faversham. A couple were no longer available last time I went, but I've been told the owners are American so hopefully they'll be getting more stuff in soon. Here's the website: http://www.macknade.com

Skippy's peanut butter (smooth & crunchy)
Mrs. Butterworth's pancake syrup
Aunt Jemima pancake syrup
Aunt Jemima corn bread mix
Hershey's chocolate syrup
Hidden Valley ranch dressing
Fresh baked sourdough bread
Butterfinger
Reese's Pieces
Reese's Peanut Butter Cups
Hershey's Cookies & Cream bars
Fluffy Stuff Cotton Candy
Lawry's seasoning salt
Betty Crocker mixes (including angel food cake)
Jello instant pudding (chocolate & vanilla)
Snapple (Fruit punch, pink lemonade, kiwi & strawberry)
Snyder of Hanover pretzels
     - Cheddar Cheese pieces
     - Jalapeno pieces
     - Peanut butter sandwiches
     - Large box (possibly sourdough)
Zatarain's rice
Lucky Charms

There may be a few more things, but these are the ones I remember!

I have been going to Macknades for years and have found that the stock changes.  Also as an aside for every £50.00 you spend you get a free bag.  I always get a free bag!  I try and hide them from my husband.   :o

I have been looking for Snyders of hanover pretzel pieces and a few other things but what i cant find anywhere is the barbecue sauce i ahve been using for the last 15 years. I have had it sent over and have brought it with me in ym luggage. Has anyone seen Sweet baby rays bbq sauce in any shops. Its the best sauce i have ever had. If you havent tried it you must. I havent yet found a sauce here in england that comes close to anythign i would call a good sauce.
