London Area Book Club - 8 October 2011
« on: August 09, 2011, 04:51:28 PM »
After a summer hiatus, the London Area Book Club will hold its next meeting on 8 October, 2011, at 3:00PM  at the Cafe Rouge, Victoria Station.

We will be discussing Freedom by Johnathan Frantzen

Quote
An international bestseller and the novel of the year, ‘Freedom’ is an epic of contemporary love and marriage.

This is the story of the Berglunds, their son Joey, their daughter Jessica and their friend Richard Katz. It is about how we use and abuse our freedom; about the beginning and ending of love; teenage lust; the unexpectedness of adult life; why we compete with our friends; how we betray those closest to us; and why things almost never work out as they ‘should’. It is a story about the human heart, and what it leads us to do to ourselves and each other.

As always, we are a very friendly group and hope that you will be able to join us.  Feel free to PM me if you have any questions or want a mobile number to call on the day.

Dang it, we are having our housewarming party that day.  :(

Hopefully I can join you all for the next one, my husband is tired of hearing about people in the books that I read.  (Yes, possibly I should get out more.  :P )

I will definitely be there today. Are there any tricks to finding everyone?
Sometimes I amaze even myself.
