Grew up eating weetabix.  It's like heaven to me. Especially warm.

But the best tasting cereals I love here are honey shreddies and chocolate shreddies in a bowl mixed together.  But I could eat the two boxes in one sitting, therefore, they don't venture into my household very often.  In fact, most cereals can't enter my house often, otherwise, I eat far, far, far too much.  Granola. Oh goodness. Yum.

Back to the OP, I think similar-esq cereals are:
Mesa Sunrise
Country Barn Special Flakes
Rude Health Multiflakes
Quaker Oat Crisp
I've never gotten food on my underpants!
Work permit (2007) to British Citizen (2014)

What amazes me is some of the so called healthy cereals have sheds loads of sugar in them. When Dh & I stayed at a hotel a few months ago the breakfast bar had mini boxes of cereal. I'm not a Full English breakfast kind of person is why I was looking at the cereals in the first place. I was looking at Kellogg's Fruit & Fiber an there was more sugar in it than there was in the box of Coco Pops the same size box that really shocked me. :o  ::)  All I'm trying to say is if you re trying to be healthy is make sure you check the sugar levels for a recommend serving size. ;) :)

I like Special K cereals but man the ones with the dried fruit in the them there sugar content is outrageous for me at least. :o  I'm not supposed to have more than 6 grams of sugar per meal an some of them cereals way surpass that level. ::)

That's dried fruit in general. Plus, I think the dried fruit cereals are gross! I'd rather have some fresh fruit on the side than dried fruit in.

The Country Barn Special Flakes are my generic Special K of choice!

Hmmm, based on the responses here, I'm guessing it is not available nationwide, but here we have a company called Dorset Cereals, which has a whole range of granola/muesli/whole grain style cereals, both hot and cold, and with low sugar but lots of fruit.  They are amazing!  If you're in the southwest, keep an eye out!

I love Kashi cereals.  Shame it's not available in the UK.  :-\\\\  I'll have to keep these suggestions in mind for when I move.  Very helpful thread! :)

ooh these are yummy! I used to get them on sale at Waitrose and tried every kind. The one with the massive raisins is my favorite.

Oh yeah - I think they're everywhere.  Just not mentioned here until you did.

Slightly bummed to hear Kashi and other cereals aren't available in the UK, but hopefully there are some good alternatives. I think I may change my normal breakfast to some delicious, classic English breakfast!  ;D Very helpful thread indeed!

Oh goodness, I couldn't imagine eating an 'English' breakfast every morning. :-X
A fry up is great, but not everyday!

I agree!  I don't get the appeal of it at all.  :-\\\\

I only like full English breakfast for dinner...and on VERY rare occasions.  I also can't remember a single time that I ate one without being sick.  Bleh.

I've become obsessed with Kashi Go-Lean in the past few months.  It's so yummy...and not just as breakfast cereal but like others mentioned, as granola to put on yogurt or whatever.  I'm a lover of dried of fruit so I add a small handful of cherries to mine every morning.  Soooo yum!
