any expats living in Bath/ Bristol Area?

any expat groups? We have lived here for 3 years ago today and have met two Americans briefly. we would love to meet some new friends.

I'm planning to visiting Bristol within the next couple of week for 3-4 days.  It's been awhile since I've been and just looking for a few days away by myself.  Anyone interested in meeting up for lunch or dinner or coffee?  Any suggestions on where I should visit while there?

So happy to see there are others in Bath! We've been here since February (BF and I) and would love to meet others as well. I guess there's enough of us representing Bath/Bristol to organize a pub meeting? If so, we're in!

Hiya! Just moved to Bristol a few weeks ago. Just caught this message a little too late for the meet-up though! 

So sorry I missed the get-together in Bath in October.  How did it go?  Any more planned in the future???  Hey Britt, I think I'm only about 45 minutes away from Trowbridge and it's a straight shot down the A350.  Let me know if you still want to meet people! 

I just caught this one, too. My wife and I just moved here in Oct 2011 from London (me by way of Ohio). Is there anything semi-regular gong on now? Or... Curious to meet a few new people.

I've haven't been on this forum for about a year!  We're in the Bath area (just outside it to the south).  I recently heard there is a group of Americans who do meet once a month in Bath, not sure who they are but hoping to find out.  Anyone know?

No clue here, I'm afraid. Would be good to know this kind of thing, though we don't drive so getting out to Bath is a little out of the way.

I seem to remember seeing a Bath expat group on Meetup.com, but it's been more than a year since I last checked.
