You made a good choice, Leah! The only drawback for me is that it never fails to make me sob like a baby. I'm such a wuss.

We end up bawling too, even my fella! I think the fact that they're real people with real stories makes it worse, in that it touches you more.

I think there are two or three from last night that could make the top ten. And the guy that had the crush on Kelly was hilarious. I do miss Simon though.

I liked Simon too and I miss Dannii, but I am enjoying the new judging panel. I've always liked Louis and I think he's better without Simon. And good riddance to the awful Cheryl Cole. Kelly and Tulisa are both really great and a huge improvement. Gary Barlow is perfect - slightly mean, but not too OTT.

I missed the first episode, but watched last night.  I like the new judges.  Kelly Rowland I had my doubts about, but she has been great so far.  She was really sweet with that guy who had a crush on her.  He was sweet too for that matter.  I'm reserving judgment on Gary.  Simon's meanness was forgivable, IMO, because he was nearly always right, and often gave helpful advice.  If Gary is going to be "the new Simon," then he'll have to remember that.

My Hubby and I are watching! So far I love that little Irish girl and they guy from Liverpool!!! (yea Liverpool!!) got teary eyed when his mom started to cry- watching this show while pregnant is a bad idea!
We stole countries with the cunning use of flags. Just sail around the world and stick a flag in. "I claim India for Britain!" They're going "You can't claim us, we live here! Five hundred million of us!" "Do you have a flag …? "What? We don't need a flag, this is our home, you bastards" "No flag, No Country, You can't have one! Those are the rules... that I just made up!...and I'm backing it up with this gun, that was lent to me from the National Rifle Association."

We are!

I like the new panel, especially Gary and Kelly.  Tulisa is fine and Louis is Louis.

I like the Scottish Girl (Jade?), Irish Girl (Janet or Janice) and the boy who was in boot camp last year.

I do NOT like that Kitty girl (Katie Waissel Jr., except not nearly as good a singer) and I feel like we haven't really heard much actual singing from the groups, so I can't tell who is good yet.

Hopefully, we'll get a bit more singing tonight and tomorrow.

Is anyone else watching X-Factor USA as well as UK? It's 4 nights of X-Factor in a row now.

I'm watching both and enjoy both for their similarities and differences. Love Simon and Paula! The US one I can't wait for the production shows!
There are two kinds of people.  People who say what they want, and people who DO what they want. Which one will you be?
