Pardon me for a moment whilst I rant about the gibbering, babbling, complete moron that is Louis Walsh.  Every year he manages to be even more of a f&?@wit than he was the year before.  He's let go his only good female singers in order to keep the bleached blond wannabe Katie Waissel and that insane woman who actually quit the show (fortunately allowing one of the good singers to stay)!  But honestly how much of a tw@t can one man be?

I know right! I was soooo mad when he put that Kitty chick through. And don't get me started on Goldie! Louis is renowned for his bad decisions, though, so I'm not totally surprised!

I couldn't believe Louis... At least he kept the army guy.  What was he thinking keeping that skinny old guy that sounds like he's holding his nose while he sings???  He really thinks he can be a pop star??? Ugh.

At least Kelly made a great choice in keeping Janet.  She is so cute and different.  Nice to see someone more folk-artsy going into the finals.

I knew that Kitty girl would go through, even though I cannot stand her.  I'm not sure how much of that decision is down to Louie and how much is to the producers wanting good tv.

I didn't like Katie Waissel either, but at least she was a good singer.  Kitty never should have made it through boot camp, she's just not very good at ya know- singing.  My guess is she'll be gone by the end of October.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the groups yet.  That young girl group that Tulisa put together should not have gone through, my guess is that they're the first to go.  Also,  I thought The Keys were the strongest boy band and should have been given a chance on that merit alone.  I don't like the show as much as last year, but maybe it will grow on me once the live shows begin.

The winner will definitely be one of the girls or boys.

I'm glad Janet is in, but sad about streaky-haired Scottish girl.  I really liked her.  One thing that annoys me about X-Factor is that they say they want someone "versatile" but also one who "knows who they are."  Contradiction much?  I'm not sure Janet will be able to handle, say, Queen week, but she has her own unique style, and why would you want to mess with that?

I think the Scouse girl group should have gone through... Yes, they were a bit "old fashioned girl group" but a few song choices could have brought them back to the now.  And I agree Sarah: the Keys were great.. yet another group Tulisa called old fashioned.

The Scottish girl was great, and I think she should have gone in over the girl from Manchester.  I heard she might be coming in as a wild card though.  Here's hoping! :)

I agree the Scouse girl group should have been in over the new girl group, but Tulisa wants 'urban' groups and nothing old-fashioned.  I kinda don't like her.

I hope Jade gets through somehow, I really loved her as a performer.

Yeah, I've gone off Tulisa.  Kelly I really like, though, despite her not picking Jade.  She seems like she would be a really good coach and mentor.

Louis is a w@nk3r! But I thought his choices were actually really predictable for him. He always turns the show into a big joke and picks the worst people. I think it's all a set up for him to get the weirdest category every year. But I guess Jedward have had some success from their stint on X-Factor, love them or hate them. At least Sami got a lucky break since Goldie backed out. Geez.  ::)

I think Tulisa is so boring. I really miss Cheryl and Dannii, but I like Kelly. I actually like Gary and don't miss Simon as much as I thought I would.

That guy Johnny that Louis put through is so annoying, yet I feel so sorry for him for some reason. I really wish Louis hadn't put him through. I think he will end up becoming the Wagner of this year, but in a much more pitiful way.  :-X  :-[

What happened to that guy who grew up in foster care because his mother was mentally ill? I must have missed that episode or something. I thought he was good.

I think he was the guy from Brighton, right?  I loved him, but for some reason he didn't make it to judges houses- which really surprised me.

I like Kelly a lot.  I feel like she has the potential be a great mentor and will really care for and champion her girls.  I also like Gary- but did anyone else think Robbie Williams looked like a total w**ker?!?  He made Gary look practically saint-like by comparison.

Ha Ha!!  I told my hubby that Robbie looked like he had been rode hard and put away wet!! :)  I was surprised that the school teacher from Wales didn't make it to judges houses... Not only was he dreamy, his voice was silky smooth!

I told my husband that this weekend. I know the producers have some say in who goes on to the live shows. I told him it's a TV show first, and a talent competition second! At the end of the day, it's all about ratings.

There's no way that kid with the tattoos on his butt should have gone through over the one kid who came back for a second year after doing a makeover. But the tattoo kid has been so hyped in the newspapers that I knew he would go through.

I'm not a huge fan of he 'twist.'  I'd rather Louis and Tulisa have less choice on who I watch, as I think Louis' choices are generally crapola and Tulisa is headed in that direction as well.  I thought Craig's performance was AMAZING, and I also really liked Janet and Misha.

I think the Frankie, Kitty, Amelia and Nu Vibe *should* go home, but ya never know what's actually going to happen.  I know Kitty is definitely not going home, even though her performance was not good, interesting or powerful.  Louis likes her and she makes good teevee.

Agree on who should go home. They were the weakest. I love love loves The Risk too. Awesome performance.

Totally agree on Kitty. I have a strong dislike for people who 'shop' reality shows just to become famous. And she's not all that.

Kitty was absolute crap, but I still can't stand Johnny.  So if either of them go I'll be happy.  I missed a few acts.. (stupid DVR) but from what I saw, I think Janet is safe, I think Craig is safe as well.  Results are starting now! Will see what happens. :)
