I dont know if I will continue to watch it as they aren't my fav singers after now watching the US one b/c I really like LA.

Well, this was a rubbish "twist," but...

Louis--good decision.  Obviously, he was going to keep Kitty, I'm just glad he kept Sami too.  And Jonjo was boring last night.

Tulisa--good decision.

Gary--predictable decision.  I'd've got rid of Tattoo Boy, but clearly that wasn't going to happen, and Hat Boy wasn't great last night.

Kelly--wrong decision.  I'd have kept Amelia, her performance wasn't fantastic, but mostly because of the bizarre song choice, and Sophie is dull.  I don't understand why she's here at all.

Aw see, I nearly threw the remote at the tv when Louie voted off Jon.  Why oh why does he keep Johnny??  It's like bad karaoke every time!!  Ugh.  I blame the baby hormones for being sooo into this! :)

Tulisa I think made the right decision as well-

Gary should have got rid of Frankie (tattoo boy!) He was boring, he can't sing as well as the others.. and frankly I'm pulling my hair out to figure out why all these girls thinks he's good looking???

Kelly had the toughest choice, but I agree, I liked Amelia better than Sophie ( I missed her performance last night but her personality just doesn't do it for me)

FRANKIE TO WIN!!!!!

(Sorry, just had to get that off my chest. Seriously, he's brilliant.)

I agree about Amelia. She was wonderful and I'm sorry to see her go. Sophie (is that her name? The dull one?) should have gone. Nice girl, but not the best of the girls last night. I think Kelly had the toughest category to cut, though. I think all the girls were very strong.

Johnny's a bit of a freak show, but I secretly love him. And he's anything but boring - which is what Army Boy was. Snooooooooze-fest.

In the boys' category, I think I would have got rid of the one with the silly little moustache. I really liked Hat Boy. Though, of course, he's no Frankie.

The groups are all sort of the same to me, except some are girls and some are boys.

I think they should have let the public decide, I agree with Historyenne- crap 'twist.'

I was bummed that Two Shoes didn't get through, I think Nu Vibe are crap- but Tulisa was part of putting them together so she's going to stick with them.  I think it's ridiculous that all the groups left are groups that the judges/Tulisa put together.  Is there not a single decent group in all of Britain?  Boo.

I actually sorta like Johnny too, and I think he knows his days are numbered which makes me like him more. There's none of the ego you see with other contestants, he just looks genuinely surprised and happy to be there.

After this week, I really wish someone would sign Misha B now before the X Factor grinds her into the dust.  She's such a natural she shouldn't need a show like this.  As far as the normal contestants go:

I love Sami.

I don't hate Rythmix, The Risk, or (shockingly) Kitty.

Frankie sings worse than Chris Martin.  I didn't think that was possible.

That song was not right for Janet.  She's got a quirky plaintive voice, not a rich Elvis one.

Sophie is dreadful.  What can Kelly be thinking??

I actually really like Kitty. I thought she was awesome tonight. Kitty and Misha are the two most interesting for me, I find the rest of them a bit dull. I do think Janet is sweet, though. I don't really care if Kitty is nuts or not, a lot of creative and talented people are eccentric or downright crazy.

I actually liked Kitty this week- Was pleasantly surprised she picked a Bjork song.

Sophie has a lovely voice, but she just seems.... vacant for lack of a better word.  I get nothing from her when she sings.  No emotion, no connection- it's the spark that Gary was talking about. Like her, just doesn't do it for me.

I liked Misha as well- I don't want to like her, but I do. :)

I can't help it, I want Janet to win.  She just oozes honesty and sweetness.  I have to disagree about the Elvis comment historyenne: one of my favorite versions of that song was done by Ingrid Michealson and Janet's version reminded me of it. I really hope she wins.

Frankie was horrible this week, just horrid!!

Sami has the voice- that girl can sing anything

As far as my Scouse boys go..  Though I though both had done better in the past, they still kicked the pants off Frankie.

Groups, I think Nu Vibe is going home.  It's my prediction

Hm.  I want to like Janet, and I think her voice is charming, but I'm not as into her as most people seem to be.

I think Rythmix will go home. Girl groups are cursed on that show. I don't know why they don't put together more mixed gender groups, and anytime a mixed group gets through to the judge's houses, they never take them to the live shows. N Dubz and Black-eyed Peas are mixed groups and they are much more current than Girls Aloud or Take That.  :-\\\\

See, my problem with Kitty isn't her eccentricity- it's the fact that she simply isn't a very good singer.  Last night's performance was her best, and I though she sang it fairly well- but I can't get over the fact that she has pitch problems and strange Snow White-esque vibrato in her mid-range.  It gets under my skin as this should be a singing competition and she isn't ya know, that good at singing.  She's got a few more weeks though, and I think the staging and her general performance yesterday was very good.

I like Janet too, and kudos to her for doing so well after a death in the family.  She seems like a fragile kid, I hope the show isn't too much for her.

Misha is so dang good, she even converted DF last night- and he never likes anyone on the show.  I disagree with Gary, she doesn't look like the guest acts that perform- she looks BETTER than most of the guest acts.  I hope she has a good career.

Sami sang that song really well, and Johnny is my guilty pleasure.

I think Sophie will go home, and it doesn't seem like they're doing her any favors to make her more memorable.

Nu Vibe should go home though.  They're so meh.

Unfortunately I think Sophie will go home, not because she's not good but because she's irrelevant. I caught myself a couokepha times saying "who is that?" Lol.

Ok am I the only one who thinks Tulisa was well out of order for what she said tonight to Misha?? Wow! I think she could have talked to her about that backstage!  >:(

I agree- Almost seems like a way to kinda get people to not vote for her... Seems underhanded, and Louie did it as well!   She very well might be a little diva and nasty to the other contestants, but it shouldn't have been brought up right then.

Other than that I thought Marcus was the best this week, Kitty did well too. I think it's going to be down to Frankie and the girl band (can't remember their name for the life of me) to be voted off tomorrow.

as this should be a singing competition

Nope. It's not a singing competition and shouldn't be one. It's about selling records and being a 'star' and that often has very little to do with actual singing talent. Would Bob Dylan ever have won a singing competition? Nope. For every Adele there are a hundred uber-successful recording artists who don't have that kind of a great voice. And that's OK.

I can see I'm in the minority here, but I adore Frankie. He doesn't have the best voice, but he certainly doesn't have the worst. He's got stage presence, he's got charisma and he's got the all-important x-factor. He's definitely my favourite.

I also like Janet and Rythmix.

Misha sounds like a bleating sheep, Marcus and Craig are bland, Sami's a cliché, Johnny's Johnny and Kitty's not awful but not very likeable. And I always forget about Sophie. Sophie who?

Also, can I just say how much Kelly Rowland is getting under my skin? I really liked her at first, but now I'm sick to death of her visible partiality toward some of the contestants. If she doesn't like them, she sits there with a sneer on her face throughout their entire performance. I think she's already made up her mind who should win and isn't doing any "judging" at all.

As for Misha-gate, I don't think Tulisa was out of line at all. If it's true, that is, and it very well may be. If Misha is indeed a b*tch, it'll show and people won't vote for her. Contrary to what Kelly and Gary say, it's not just about what's on stage. It's about the whole package and personality is a HUGE part of that.

Having said that, I think Sophie should go this week. Bland can't win regardless of how good the voice is.
