how long from start to finish

Has anyone applied for a fiance visa recently. if so how long does it take from sending everything off to recieving the visa.
we are sending it tomorrow and am so worried that we wont get it.

I think they are currently taking 2 to 3 weeks by mail. There is no reason to think you won't get it unless your finances are in very poor shape or you have been refused admission to the UK/overstayed. I doubt they'd just refuse anyway--they'd be more likely to phone you and ask for a co-sponsor or whatever.

Mine wasn't recent, but with a hand-deliver and payment to the Consulate, I had a 7 day turn around, including one public holiday.

I applied for mine in April 2004 and it took 7 days to NY.
