Hee hee - I just go without until I can get a proper graham cracker fix.

However, my Canadian friend who makes the Nanaimo Bars swears it's absolute heresy, and against the spirit of the Nanaimo Bar, to make them with digestives. She says well you'll have some kind of bar (made with digestives) but it won't be a Nanaimo Bar. So we have to wait until someone has some!

It's funny because one time a guy at work (a know-it-all, who had never eaten or even seen a graham cracker) was aggressively telling me that digestives were
exactly the same thing because he'd heard Stephen Fry say so on QI once. I said well I don't give a flying you-know-what what Stephen Fry may have said or thinks he knows - but a digestive is not exactly the same thing as a graham cracker.
