No, I can't be doing with any digestives - I just don't like them! The plain ones - the texture calls to mind what might happen if you took a small pile of sawdust, stuck it together with some kind of binding agent, and pressed it into a patty. Very occasionally, I might eat a chocolate one (and it's only ever one) - which only serves to remind me how much I don't like them & shouldn't have wasted those calories. Whereas I could sit and eat a whole box of graham crackers in one go if I let myself! Good thing (for my waistline) they're not readily available here.

Funny thing is that when I was living in the US - I probably hadn't eaten a graham cracker for years & years & years, nor even thought of them. Then I moved here & it's one of the few food things I really missed. Eating them takes me right back to childhood - camping in the Colorado mountains with my family, or on a Girl Scout camping trip (S'Mores).
Nanaimos - I have to bow to the Canadian expertise (cough - graham crackers) on that one, as it's their traditional treat! Terrible is not a word I would use to describe my mate's Nanaimos & she's been making them a long time (and hopefully will continue to do so - for me). We had a long & important conversation this summer at a picnic about preserving the cultural authenticity of baked goods - the Leeds baked goods posse are purists!
