Really?  I will check it out.  I guess the one I flew with after taking them was a no.  My friend's kids would love them.

Of course, she has so many I would need two boxes!   ;D

It used to be you'd bring back tea towels and calendars. Probably get sour faces if you did that nowadays.  ;D

All the UK in-laws love getting Texas calendars. :)

Such great ideas everyone, thank you so much. Please keep posting!

One of my girlfriend's back home is an RN, so I'm bringing her back the Guiding You CD by The Four Nurses. Part of the proceeds go to Macmillan Cancer Support, and both she and I are cancer survivors. I think she'll love a CD by British nurses.

Where did you buy this? I am flying on Wednesday, so really don't have time to order it, but it would be perfect for someone on my list. Cheers!

I bring back women's magazines w/freebies to give to my friend's in the states. :) So easy to pick up at the airport and usually go down quite well.

Phillygirl and Caligirl, these are great ideas, as well.

I'm staying with my son's in-laws the first night I arrive. His mother-in-law is a lovely woman and she, her learning-impaired daughter, and my daughter-in-law are all GAGA over Kate and all the Royal Wedding stuff - so they're sorted! I ordered some nice Royal Wedding books from Amazon, including a Royal Wedding paper doll book for the learning-impaired daughter who is really into arts and crafts.

Am bringing my son a hot water bottle covered in a knitted Union Jack design - thought that would be rather British (even though I've never used one but in the States I've never even seen them for sale).

This may also sound a bit unusual but on telly the other night the advert for John West tuna said that every can has a code on it and you enter the code on their website and it will tell you where the fish was caught, the species of tuna and the name of the John West boat that harvested the fish! I just thought that a can or two of something like this would be a very unique present for a couple men I know back home who are big-time fishermen - one of whom just happens to be the attorney I used to work for whose name is, you guessed it: John West. LOL http://www.john-west.co.uk

I can see a second piece of luggage in my future already .... :-\\\\
