I am finding all that I need (slurp) in being an England Rugby supporter and can't wait to volunteer on the local/regional level! Thought I could massage some muscles...

...Oh, but thanks anyway! (:

If you miss college sports then you can always get ESPNAmerica.  I've been weary to get the ESPN Player, particularly of the cost, and I'm not sure what games it carries.  Do they cover just football and basketball, and only those shown on ESPN3 in the states?

Of course, if you have family that are cable/satellite subscribers in the states, you can ask them nicely for their user account info and watch for free via www.watchespn.com, which is the new version of ESPN360.  I've used my mom's Time Warner username so can watch most anything on that player.

Of course if you don't have that resource...well...the internet is a beautiful thing...if you know where to look...

I enjoyed the player for the UT game...I actually bought the 1 day pass which covered 24 hours of every college basketball game and I believe it was 8 quid.
CHEAP in my opinion or as my DH says "bargin"

I have a slingbox.hava but I am waiting for it to be hooked up but game player was great even though we lost to OU

We have ESPN America as part of our Virgin package and it seems like all weekend my husband watches college football (surprisingly he's the Brit!).  We don't always get to watch the exact game we want but they show a lot of good games.  It becomes much more of an issue when basketball season starts as I'm a huge Carolina fan and try to watch as many games as possible.  A lot of the bigs ones are shown on ESPN-A though not necessarily live.  I've tried watching some things on slingbox or justintv but the image quality is usually poor.  What I miss most is talking about college sports with people on a daily basis or just the atmosphere of attending games.  When I try to explain it to most Brits they don't exactly get the concept of college sports.
