Expat Communities in London?

Hey all,

I'm a Californian currently doing another year of uni over in west London. And though I've lived outside of California for most of the last decade, I'm finding it really difficult to find a slice of London that I can call my own.

Does anyone know of any places in London that are firmly international-ish? I've been told Clapham has a huge kiwi/aussie population but the one time I made it down that way we ended up at a Slug and Lettuce... long story.

Just looking for a place with a cool, non-judgemental, fairly artsy and international crowd. Sorta getting tired of the younger Brits I've been spending time with as of late... any help would be grand! Thanks!

I find most of London to be "firmly international-ish". 

You could try Meet-up.com. They have loads of social groups for a variety of interests.
