That was my first and only ever experience with a pasty... and I didn't even get to eat it!  I had literally one bite, and then a gull swooped down and took it right out of my hand!

Welcome to Cornwall!  ;D

I had visitors here last week and the same thing happened to someone's ice cream. Locals know to hold their food very close to their bodies and glare threateningly at the gulls!
