Can I bring some South GA pecans back to UK?
« on: November 06, 2011, 06:43:18 PM »
Heading over for Thanksgiving.  My parents have lots of pecan trees and I would love to bring some shelled pecans back to eat, bake with, and give to my MIL.  Is this an okay thing to do?
Thanks :)

I've been mailed pecans from home and brought them back with me...Mine came from Sam's so where in a sealed package but I don't see a problem with it!  Have a great time at home :)

I see restrictions on almonds, but not pecans.

Of course you aren't a trader, but then the pecans aren't processed.  Either way, I think the pecans are fine.
