Where can i find a Turkey Frying Kit
« on: November 18, 2011, 01:27:23 PM »
Hello all.

I am not an American but need the knowledge of those who have info of both sides of the Pond!
While living in Qatar we went to a friends house for a thanks giving birthday party. Our host made simply the best turkey i have ever had, and now that i am back in Scotland i want to treat the family to a Christmas deep Fried Turkey feast. ( this is the bit i need you help  ;D) Does anyone know where i can buy an outdoor turkey frying kit in the UK?  I can get them in the US on the web but can find anywhere that will ship them over to Scotland. Any Ideas ?

Dunno if this is what you are looking for but Amazon will post it over and including postage will be about £120. :o

Nik, that is an "oil free" fryer. I think McBeath is seeking the heart-clogging, set-your-porch-on-fire kind shown here in William Shatner's turkey frying safety vid:

A turkey fryer with no oil? Sacrilege lol.

I'm sure whatever it produces is probably very tasty but is in no way a fried turkey!!!
