It's snowing here now. I don't know if its been cold enough for it to stick, but I hope not. We are leaving tomorrow to drive down to Manchester for our flights back to the US on Tuesday. There's no back-up plan if the roads are closed and we can't make the flight. We would have to reschedule our flights and our cats.

On top of the that, my OH has to take a final exam in Glasgow tomorrow (for an online class he's taking), and he's now wondering if he will even be able to make it since they aren't well known for getting the roads cleared here. If he can't take the exam, he'll likely fail the class.

Lets just hope it stops with a bare dusting.  :(  :\\\'(

We got some over night, maybe about 1/2 an inch. It's just started to snow again here, too.  :-\\\\ It's sticking here, but I'm at a higher elevation than Glasgow, so it's just cold enough to do that. I don't think it's supposed to be much, Bluegrass Lass, at least not out your way, so hopefully your plans won't get thwarted.

We're getting a bit of a mess at the moment. The rooftops are white, but there is ice hitting our windows. Fingers crossed it all turns to snow, but in reality it has been too warm for any to stick.

Lovely snowy walk into work this morning, all white and cold and pretty, snowflakes falling on my head - Have about an inch on the ground up in my hilly area, probably a bit more higher up, I have friends who live even higher into the Caringorm National Park and they've got a fair whack.
Gorgeous, so long as it all goes away before the 18th/19th so I can catch my flights OK!
I've never gotten food on my underpants!

We've got about 3 inches here and it's still coming down. It's absolutely gorgeous, but it needs to go! I was going to head into Glasgow today to go Christmas shopping and see friends, but I'm not sure I will anymore.  :-\\\\

Coming down really good now!   Supposed to be blizzard-like in Caithness this evening, Orkney also to get dumped on.

We're all like kids here in the office, staring out the window. It's so funny- you would have thought we have never seen snow!  :P

I'm like that every time it snows.  ;D I'm at the window every two minutes to see if it is still snowing and how much is on the ground.

We're back to business as usual this morning, with rain other than about five minutes of hail.

TamaMoo and pb I am the same and hubby is, too!  We had about and hour off and on this morning around 8:30 and it was sticking a bit, too!  I was out walking around in it (doing errands).  It's bright and sunny now, though.

Hubby is the complete opposite. He moans and complains at the first hint of it in the forecast, and it would suit him to live somewhere where it never snows.

It's been snowing for the better part of the last 2 hours. Heavily-ish. I was hoping that the snow shovel we bought this afternoon would be enough to jinx the snow into not turning up.  :-\\\\

Just as long as it stops by Thursday morning. Please, please stop by Thursday morning!!

Does he think he could live here when it gets to 110 sometimes?
No snow.

No snow.

He's not crazy about heat and humidity either. He's witnessed 100+ F, with horrid humidity on quite a few occasions while living in Indiana. He says he'd still take that over snow, although Indiana does get snow.
