Ours turned to rain last night and melted a bit of what was here. I'm relieved that it let up, but I am also happy that I did get a chance to see it snow out here in our new village before I leave, because it is just gorgeous when it's covered.  :)

Blue skies here but it has been raining/hailing for I think a week now and the wind this morning felt like a solid tropical storm.

Thanks PB!  :)

It looks like we're meant to get more snow on Friday, so I think I may be getting out at just the right time for this week!

He's not crazy about heat and humidity either. He's witnessed 100+ F, with horrid humidity on quite a few occasions while living in Indiana. He says he'd still take that over snow, although Indiana does get snow.

Try Phoenix. It may get up to 120 but at least it's a dry heat. :)

The other day in Leeds was interesting. I live in LS5 and had no snow but my friend who lives in LS7 did. Crazy Leeds. We've had ice though. A lot of ice which has made walking the kids to nursery very interesting.

It's snowing! So far there is only a dusting, but it is gorgeous coming down. It is alternating between big, fat, fluffy flakes and fine powdery snow, but I am enjoying every minute of it. At the moment they are the really HUGE ones. JOY!  [smiley=2thumbsup.gif]

It may make tomorrow evening's adventures a bit more interesting, but we will see how it goes. A friend is having a 40th birthday pub crawl.

Try Phoenix. It may get up to 120 but at least it's a dry heat. :)

Missed this post. I've heard that about Phoenix.  ;D It still doesn't sound like fun to me. Dry or humid, I'm not a fan of the heat.

Snowing here in Knatts Valley.....I loved the huge flakes that were coming down.....now just really little ones but looks like it is stopping.....glad of that as the DH and I have Christmas gifts on the way and would hate not to have them here for Christmas........also my grocery order.....we shall see.....

My aunt moved from Boise to Phoenix about 2 years ago......she traded living in the beautiful mountains to desert and heat........I don't do well in heat so probably would not like living there.......anyway you all take care!!!!!!!

It's snowing off and on (more off than on) today, with a light dusting on the ground. Hopefully not enough to delay PB.

We woke up to a very (VERY) light dusting this morning. Looking that the 10 day forecast, it looks like we won't be getting any for the near future, and no white Christmas. Sigh. The temps for the next 10 days are between 47 and 50. That isn't too far off summer temps.  ::)

On and off white bits falling today. Mixed with sleet and rain so not sticking too much.  Cars had a bit on them this morning.

I'm still holding out hope of even another dusting. We've had one dusting so far, and that is it.  ::) I might have to live vicariously through your on and off snow today.  ;D
