Well last week was 20ºC and gorgeous and summerlike
Tonight, there's a good threat of snow!

Tonight, there is a good thread of jealousy here!  ;D I'd take snow any time of year.

Summerlike then snow sounds like spring in Indiana. It doesn't happen every year by any means, but it does happen. I remember a couple years of sunbathing and then it would snow one or two days later.

Several inches lying out there. Up the hill where I live, it was actually up to the top of my boots. Was a very nice, snowy walk into work today. Last burst of winter!

well, despite the conspiracy theories that say global warming is just another myth designed to keep the masses in line (or whatever the theory of the day happens to be) I can tell you that in my physical geography climatology classes we talked about it way back in the 70's. And those who say the cold proves that global warming is a big lie don't understand the mechanics of weather systems.

That said, we just had a couple of snow flakes here in Cheshire.....and last week I was in shorts and t-shirt scrubbing the flagstones on our patio! And that is as much snow as I care to see.

We woke up to snow here this morning in Leeds, and it's still going now. Looks like maybe an inch or two, hard to tell since I haven't been outside, just watching in amazement from my window...

Same here (I'm in Leeds, too).  We're both off from work today, so hubby made a fire.  At least we're cozy.

Woke up to snow and wind here in Shropshire.

I'm in Shrewsbury at the moment (on detachment for work) - the wind will ease this evening and the snow should turn back to rain this afternoon. I'm just glad that I issued an overnight snow warning yesterday :P.

Luckily tomorrow should be a nice day here in Shropshire :).

Wow what a difference a day makes!  Had a horrendous commute to work yesterday morning - soaked at the bus stop (waiting for late bus) in a very windy snow/sleet/hail (or icy bits falling off the trees?) mixture.

Lovely & sunny today (if still only a bit chilly)!

Winter be gone!

Fear not, the world has righted itself. It's snow showers and hail up here in the north pole today.

However, its May and this is now pissing me off!
