Kool Aid
« on: September 16, 2004, 03:09:24 PM »
I have been trying to tell my sister in law about Kool Aid. Do they have this in the UK or something like it? or will I have to send her some to make her understand. Thanks.

No equivalent that I know of.  We just got an envelope from my mom full of Kool-Aid.  DH fell in love with the grape (NOT blackcurrant!  whoo hoo!) flavour while we were there this summer!   ;D

The only near equivalent I can think of would be that concentrated stuff in a bottle, that squash stuff that comes in different flavours and you add water to it.  That might give her somewhat of a loose idea what you're talking about.

Kool Aid is brilliant.  I love the lemon lime flavor and I really, really miss it.

I wouldn't buy it on ebay, I live in the states but she has three kids that haven't tried it so I thought I would send it with the Christmas package we send every year.

I agree with you, zenmomma.  I've never been a big kool-aid fan, even when I was a kid.
