I think the Feds and (most) state gov'ts know better.   

It is the private companies that want your soul, which is why the ACLU is stepping up.

I've heard of employers asking for FB passwords, but I wouldn't give it to them. Feel free to do a public search of my profile, but I will not turn over my password. First, doing so violates the Terms of Service. Would the employer want me to treat their systems access passwords in the same way?
