It's snowing in Ealing!  :D

Now I know to SOME of you this is no big deal. But it's my first snow of the year so I'm allowed to be excited! ;D ;D

It's snowing in Harrow!

I don't blame you for being excited. Snow Days are the only time adults get permission to spend a lot of time in pajamas and to break out glitter glue while nice things roast in the oven. I mean, we *can* do that whenever we want, but it's better when it's snowing and you can say, "Oh dear, I was going to pick up groceries and then go for a run, but I guess I have to stay inside and eat cookies instead!"
Sometimes I amaze even myself.

Thank goodness there's no snow in Cornwall. After living in Canada and New England, I don't care if I never see another snowflake the rest of my life.

It's snowing here in Manchester too. I would be happy except we're due to fly out to Copenhagen tomorrow for a short city break. I can't get the car out of the street to get to my parents who were driving us to the airport.. :o  It's on a big hill with lots of parked cars on either side...

Ah well, a trudging walk to the train station is in store and a crossing of many fingers to hope they are not affected.... :o

We had flurries in Blackburn around noon, then the freezing rain set in.  :\\\'( I was hoping for snow, but it looks like it isn't going to happen. It does appear to be all around us though. Typical.

Has been a mixture of snow and sleet off and on today in Crewe. The snow bit is much nicer than the sleet bit!!

We've got about 3 inches already in Pontefract. It looks beautiful. Our new Westie is having a ball. I made a huge pot of chicken stew. We had cheesecake for dessert.  Snow is FUN! (when you don't have to go outside/travel in it!)

Or forecast it :P.

I'm quite glad I'm not working this weekend because instead of enjoying the snow, I would be worrying about putting out snow warnings, figuring out what time it will start and finish falling and trying to predict the exact accumulation on the ground during that time :P.

Lucky for all you snow folks. Not as cold way up here in the North Pole, just raining off and on.
