Facial Photograph for Visa?
« on: February 08, 2012, 03:22:25 AM »
When applying for a general visitor visa it says you must submit a facial photograph (2 i believe). Is this in addition to your passport? Meaning I need to submit my passport, a copy of my passport photo page, AND 2 additional identical facial photographs?

Can I use the facial photograph they take at the biometric appointment, or do I need to go to CVS and have another passport photo taken and submit that with my documents?

Yes, you have to submit two separate photographs.  You can get them done anywhere but you must be sure they conform to the requirements set out in the application.

I took mine in our kitchen, cropped it online and printed it ourselves.  They were fine but you have to check guidelines.

If you're applying from the US then you can use US Standard Passport size photos - they don't have to be the UK Passport Size (makes it a bit easier).

If you're in the UK you need to make sure that the photos fit the UK Passport Standards.
