The Girls by Lori Lansens. It's a fictional account of conjoined twin sisters, one of whom decides to write her autobiography. I'm only about 50 pages in, but so far it's fascinating!

(MrsPink: It's set in Canada in the '70s, so I thought you might be interested!)  :)

Totally.  Thanks!!

I'm reading Body and Soul by frank Conroy.  I've read it probably 5 times and every single time, I'm just so absorbed I can't put it down.  I'm absolutely besotted with this book!  And it stays with me for days afterward.  I dont' know what it is about it.

And I've been reading in bed at night which I haven't done since we moved here.  I'm determined to keep my reading momentum!!!  The Book Thief is Next on the list.

Just finished The Depths of the Forest by Eugenio Fuentes, it was really good. I may have to look for other stuff by him. And now I am finally starting that Fesperman novel, The Small Boat of Great Sorrows.

I've just finished Digging to America by Anne Tyler.  I loved it, a real story about two families and also a meditation on belonging and friendship, thoroughly recommended!

I'm loving this book.  I'm only about 100 pages or so in. (I don't read as much as I did before Josh)

It was great all the way through! I absolutely loved it.

Now I'm reading Snow Flower and the Secret Fan. I'm learning more than I ever wanted to know about foot binding. Blech!! I never knew it was that brutal!!!

I'm reading M.R. James' "Collected Ghost Stories".

I've always been a fan of supernatural fiction and non-fiction, and this is certainly a collection of some of the most spine-tingling fiction I have read for some time.  ;D

Sovereign by C J Sansome.  It's about intrigue and murder during a royal progress by Henry VIII to visit the North after a rebellion against the Reformation. Fascinating and much more exciting than it sounds!
