I just finished Water for Elephants by Sarah Gruene.... high recommend it! It's a great story which involves the circus circuit of early 1900's America. good book!

I've got a number of things from the library but the only one I can remember right now is A Catcher in the Rye.

I've never read it before!! Somehow we avoided it in my high school. So I'm going to try. But I haven't been able to get into it yet. $:-\\\\$

I know it's supposed to be a seminal novel and all that, but I really didn't enjoy it. It wasn't really the book itself, either. Holden annoyed me so much, I wanted to scream!

Of course, you should take my thoughts with huge grains of salt. I hated The Grapes of Wrath, too.

Seriously, it's an amazing book. One of the few I've ever given 5 stars!

I read this last month. Very engaging story. I can give you the book in October if you want.
