About 1/3 the way through Cloud Atlas. Very, very, very good!! I'm really having a hard time putting it down.
I know I'm late - where's the booze?

With Or Without You by Carole Matthews - light and airy chick lit. My system is: one chick lit book, one serious book. So I did Sushi For Beginners and then the Line of Beauty, now With Or Without You and next will actually be... Cloud Atlas!  ;D

That's funny - my book club is reading Line of Beauty next!  I'm still totally engrossed in Cloud Atlas.  I can definitely see why it was short-listed for Booker! You'll have to let me know what you think of it when you start reading. :)

I still have Cloud Atlas sitting on my desk ready to be read! I thought Line of Beauty was overrated, myself. Let me know what you think!

I'm reading the trashiest ever biography of Jean Harlow -- written circa 1960. Got it at a carboot sale for 10p.

Just finished reading Falling Leaves by Adeline Yen Mah. Really moving and heart wrenching...

I'm re-reading Running With The Demon by Terry Brooks.  It's the first in "The Word and The Void" trilogy.  I read them a few years back and enjoyed them immensely.  So far, they are just as good the second time around. :)

I just finished cute, frothy chick lit called "He loves me, he loves me not" (very funny skint Irish aristo caper) and Jane Green's "The Other Woman" - again, excellent light reading, all about her relationship with her MiL.

Next I am moving onto Cloud Atlas, purely because of the reviews on here and a book on having children recommended by Britwife and some others on here.

Mark Twain - A Yankee in the Court of King Arthur.  I'm really enjoying it.

Secret Life of Bees was a wonderful book!
