OMG that sounds perfect!  I am going to look for it at the library.

Can I recommend the paperback copy if they have it? My library copy is the hardback and it weighs a ton!

Yes!  Although I doubt they have it.  Our library isn't very good.  :-\\\\

Extremely successful library trip today!!

Oblivion: Stories by David Foster Wallace
Jude the Obscure by Thomas Hardy
Thomas Hardy omnibus, containing Tess of the d'Urbervilles, The Mayor of Casterbridge, and Far From the Madding Crowd
Morocco travel guide
Marrakesh travel guide

Plus!  I reserved the Charlotte Mosley book and Infinite Jest by David Foster Wallace.  Yay!  Plus I found out my local library which had been closed for renovation has opened back up again!  :D

I'm slowly getting through The Other Boleyn Girl.  I'm reading it mostly on my lunch.

My favourite part of Middlesex was the description of his grandfather working on the assembly line.  Incredible use of language.

Just finished Restless by William Boyd, and am about to start How Mumbo Jumbo Conquered the World

My favourite part of Middlesex was the description of his grandfather working on the assembly line.  Incredible use of language.

Oooh--think I'll go re-read that bit right now.

I am reading The Girl with the Pearl Earring, which I borrowed from the learning resource centre at my job -- the power was off on Friday and I needed something to do!   :D
I am also reading Life in the UK:  A Journey to Citizenship, even though I won't be taking the test for a long time, it makes a pretty interesting read about the country itself... and I am having fun quizzing my co-workers on all things British... they hardly know any of the answers!!  Thanks for the recommendation Mrs. Robinson!!   ;)
