Three Cups of Tea - only about three chapters in; so far it's lovely.

Hitler's Children (The Story of the Baader-Meinhof Group) - fascinating (and if you're into history at all, I HIGHLY recommend the film 'The Baader-Meinhof Complex' - really interesting piece of history I was not familiar with).

New Moon - yes, I got pulled in, but just enough to read a bit before I go to sleep.  It's interesting enough, but I am able to put it down.

I like Dean Koontz myself. Currently reading Demon Seed, though I must say, so far, it's seriously NOT his best. Will have to check out The Husband next time.  ;)

I've laid down so many books that didn't wow me --- as of now I'm reading a suspense mystery by Baltimore, Maryland author Laura Lippman's 'The Last Place.'

I just finished Elizabeth George's latest. She's so good it scares me. Now I'm about to start Sibyl by Disraeli.

Wishful Drinking by Carrie Fisher, so far it's hilarious.

And in the car I'm listening to Dean Koontz "The Face."  Good car book.  I brought it in tonight I was so intrigued.

_Not Buying It_ Juduth Levine. A bit off in what is a necessity IMO (NY Times for example), but interesting none the less.

The Shack by William Young.

Okay. I came home and this book was laying next to my bed. My mom was like I thought you might want to read it, it's an interesting book about faith. Right. It's a book about a man whose daughter is abducted and killed by a serial killer causing him to seriously question his faith. Well, I'm reading it, but it's no page turner. Some bits make me chuckle, like when he was describing a lake in Washington and said, 'Some people believe the lake was made by glaciers millions of years ago.' You can tell he's trying to appease to conservative and liberal christians alike, but he's not too saavy.

Plus, everytime I see the title I can't help but start singing Loveshack!  :-X

Blech. That sounds torturous... and it also sounds exactly like something my mother or grandmother would give me for Christmas.  :-X

"The Sun Over Breda" by Arturo Perez-Reverte (no. 3 in the Captain Alatriste series). A bit like Dumas père. Some people may have seen the film "Alatriste" with Viggo Mortensen in the title role.
