Rereading the Sherlock Holmes cannon.
And if you threw a party
Invited everyone you knew
You would see the biggest gift would be from me
And the card attached would say
"Thank you for being a friend!"

Private Enterprise by Angela Thirkell. She's my go-to author when I want some good comfort reading. And after Disraeli, I need it!

The Accidental-Ali Smith

We were discussing this at book club last night. We'd all read it, but not one of us could remember the first thing about it!

Shatter by Michael Robotham. My MIL gave it to me since she really liked it, and it's actually sucked me in - a great thriller!  :)

Just finished "A Spot of Bother" by Mark Haddon (on reccomendation from Jewlz) and it was quite good.  Lovely.

Now I'm on "Innocence" by Katherine Tessaro (she wrote "Elegance" which I loved)

Gotta love Spring Break, I've read three novels since it began a week ago. :D

YAY!!!! I'm so glad you read it. I loved it! It was really different from The Curious Incident... but also very good.

I got a list of suggested reading for my grad course, and decided to start with Watching the English: The Hidden Rules of English Behaviour by Kate Fox. So far it's really interesting. :)

I got a Sony eReader for Christmas, and I've been reading way more than normal.  Right now I'm reading 1984 for the first time.  Kind of reminds me of my work, but I like it.

I read The Road by Cormac McCarthy before this, and that was really good too.  It will be interesting to see it as a film later this year.
