I just finished Push, by Sapphire.  It was good..but lord, it was grim.  I wanted to read it before seeing Precious, which I think will be released here in Feb or March.

Also just read Under the Dome by Stephen King.  I'm a huge King fan, and this was a decent read, but not his best, in my opinion.

Next up:  The Road.  I'm going to be depressed, I hear.

I couldn't get through this one. Everyone would bang on about how great it was, but I didn't think he said anything we didn't already know and he was just restating the obvious.

I read The Vanishing Act of Esme Lennox. I liked it, but man, it was ever so dark and depressing. I nearly cried at a few places.  :\\\'(

I just finished Miss Buncle's Book and have requested the next one at the library.  I need something in the meantime, though...

I picked up George Elliot's Middlemarch and Virginia Woolf's To The Lighthouse from the library today. I think I'll start with Middlemarch.

I just finished Middlemarch a couple of weeks ago, and it immediately got a spot in my Top 10 all-time books list!  :)

Sarah Caudwell's The Sibyl in Her Grave.
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon
