I loved it!  Mind you, I read it so many years ago that I almost qualify as a different person/reader now, so who knows? But I remember it very fondly. :)

Most people seem to have read it as teenagers, but I somehow missed out. Anyway, I loved it too!

I'm sure everyone on here is well aware of the 50 Shades Trilogy.. But for those of you who like books similar to that genre I recommend Sylvia Day's Crossfire series.. The first book is called Bared To You and the second one was just released last week, it's called Reflected In You. These are page turners, but be warned they're of an erotic nature. So if that's not your scene I wouldn't reccommend reading them. Otherwise READ AWAY ;)

I'm having to read An Evil Cradling for one of my book groups and I'm sooooo not in the mood. I need some fluffy comfort fiction!

I just finish 'The Racketeer' by John Grisham who is one of my favourite authors, however, I was disappointed in this book, it just wasn't the page turner like some of his other books; there wasn't enough substanance...but I read an intrewview he did and said Scott Turow was his favourite legal thriller written so I'm reading Turow's first book, presumed innocence. Just started it so I don't have an opinion yet...

I just finished 'The Handmaid's Tale' by Margaret Atwood. I loved this book, though it gave me some nightmares.. :S

I'm apparently going to be reading her book The Blind Assassin for class next semester, so it's good to hear something positive.  Maybe I'll check out The Handmaid's Tale too.

In the meantime, we just finished doing Remains of the Day, which I read a couple of years ago and loved and still loved on a second read-through last week.

The Art of Racing in the Rain by Garth Stein.  Told through the eyes of a dog, this book is going to be a tear jerker.

This is one of my favourite books of all time. I first read it when I was quite young, and I've kept re-reading it since. I loved "Blind Assassin" as well.

Just read the new graphic novel of Anne Rice's "Interview with a Vampire"; it was interesting (got it in to review). I'm currently reading Toibin's "Testament of Mary". It's lush.

Lois McMaster Bujold's latest, Captain Vorpatril's Alliance (Sf/F, not romance); Mira Grant's Feed (zombies! But not horror), John Scalzi's Old Man's War (reread 'cause it was on sale). This maternity leave thing pre-baby is brilliant.

I recently got into the J.D. Robb In Death series. I picked up the 34th book at the library awhile ago and when my hubby and I went back to the US recently, I bought the first three books in the series. I'm hooked.  ;D
