Is that a new one? I've read all of hers but didn't realise there was a new one out!

Yes it is, I didn't know there was a new one out either until I saw at the library.... I always get a bit excited when I see a new book from any of my favorite authors  ;D

Well until Just One Evil Act by Elizabeth George comes to me from the library, I am back to reading A Casual Vacancy by JK Rowling.
I started reading it back in December, just before I went to America.
It is one of the few books that I actually bought, instead of from the library, so I saved it until I got back to the UK, but now I have forgotten most of it and have to start over to find my place again!

I read voraciously LOL - recently finished "How England Made the English" and "The Midnight Rose" and am now reading "Life after Life" by Kate Atkinson. All of those are very much out of my "comfort zone".

I usually read horror but am trying to widen my horizons a bit. Waterstones is awesome for having the 3 for 2 and Buy One Get One Half Off deals. :)

"Life after Life" by Kate Atkinson

Fantastic book.

I'm currently re-reading The Village by Marghanita Laski and loving it just as much as I did the first time around, many many years ago.

Fantastic book.

I'm loving it - I'm most of the way through it. I plan to send it to my mom when I am done with it. There is no longer an actual book store where I am from so other than driving 3 hours to the nearest Barnes and Noble, shopping online is the only way to find stuff like this over there. South Dakota truly is the middle of nowhere. LOL

Just finished A Private Venus by Giorgio Scerbanenco. Loved it.

Tried to start reading an advance copy I have of The Avenue of the Giants by Marc Dugain, but it's just not doing it for me. So, I've started reading The Goldfinch, since I've had it laying around for months and it winning the Pulitzer reminded me I had it! So far I'm liking it.

Back to reading Just One Evil Act by Elizabeth George, I found it hard going at first time around, but now I am up to all hours reading it  :)
