Dark Tower Final Volume- today

I was just looking at the Stephen King site to find out when the next book for me to read in the series was due out, and lo and behold I had missed it, and it's been out, and the final is out today.  I have an appointment with a bookstore for 2 books today! well, at least one.

Got it the day it was released, and devoured it in two days.    I've been a fan of the Dark TOwer series for years and years.    So what did you think?

I decided that since I'm too busy to read at the moment, I'm best not to spend the dosh. I will, soon, I'm really looking forward to it.

It made my husband cry! He won't tell me why because he wants me to read the series one day - but yikes. He looooves this series. 

Tell him I know how he feels!    I cried so much reading that book.  It definitely gets to you, it's a very powerfully written series.

I adore Stephen King!!  I have several first edition hard covers of his books!!!

I could never get into the Dark Tower series...a bit to fantasy for me...I might give it another go...

Now Cujo, Insomnia...and The Dark Half... that's more my style.

A bit off topic, but anyone ever see the TV Movie The Langoliers based on his short story....first time I saw it - it completely freaked me out!!  The cast was brilliant...Mr Toomey was well cast!  Although I just saw it again recently and it was a bit "dated"....
