sublet/rentals...where do I go?

Hello all
my apologies if I am posting this in the wrong board, but I couldn't find anything specific to sublets and rentals. Please direct me to the right chat if you know of one on this subject.
My husband's company is relocating us from NYC to London and we're looking for a 1 month sublet while we look for our permanent neighborhood and home. Any suggestions on websites? I have looked at this : http://london.sublet.com/ [nofollow] and airbnb.com (which seems to be more rooms, and we want a whole furnished apartment to ourselves). I've heard that Craigslist is not so safe for London, lots of scams, is that true?
If you know of a good site, or if people post this kind of stuff here, let me know!

Gumtree for sublets and letting agents for longer rentals.

You might also do a search for "serviced apartments", which is what they call short-term furnished rentals in the UK.

Try homeaway.com maybe? It's also focused on holiday rentals by the week but there's a lot of whole apartments on it.
